1755-1775 approximate time frame: Our Kentucky Barn Gun represents a basic poor boy that was nothin' more than a survival tool packed by common folks in Early America. If you are looking for the proper weapon to portray an 18th century farmer or hunter of modest means, this is it. THE CUMBERLAND SMOOTHBORE or rifled bore

1755-1800 approximate time frame; Represents a good example of an Early Southern Mountain Rifle, commonly used by civilians and Militia of the Southern Colonies. Offering a plain maple wood stock stained real dark, L&R Queen Ann flintlock, single trigger, two upper thimbles, and Early Virginia steel hardware. The style and available options allow this gun or rifle to fit into a mid 18th century to early nineteenth century time frame. 1730–1750 approximate time frame: Our Colonial is a version of the earliest example of the American Longrifle being a period of transition that represents the evolution from the short jaegers to a longer and more slender American form. We offer in two different versions The "Germanic influence" uses an early wide butt plate and guard with an L&R transitional flintlock. Or more of a "English flavor" by using an Early Virginia style butt plate and guard with a L&R Queen Ann flintlock. It features a plain maple wood stock stained real dark. THE AMERICAN FOWLER

1750-1760 approximate time frame: Our American Fowler is taken from an original pattern available in the catalog " Battle Weapons of the American Revolution." This handsome arm has a sharply curved stock that achieves an extremely delicate and graceful profile, it shoulders and balances surprisingly well. Originally made by Joseph Chapman near Windsor Connecticut this type of American fowler was used through out the early colonial frontier. It offers a plain maple wood stock stained real dark, L&R Queen Ann flintlock, brass mounted, early butt plate with inletted finial, acorn type fowler guard, side plate, three upper thimbles, and a 46” full round tapered barrel in .50 .54 .62 .75 calibers (25.00 extra for.75 caliber.) THE NEW ENGLAND CLUB BUTT FOWLER

1690-1770 approximate time frame: Our New England Club Butt Fowler is a version of a late 17th century trade gun that resembles the style and grace of the early Buccaneers or Hudson Valley Fowlers.  It offers a plain maple wood stock stained real dark, L&R Queen Ann lock, brass mounted, early wide sheet brass butt plate with long finial and attached with nails, dragon style side plate, three upper thimbles, and a 46" long octagon to round barrel in ..50 .54 .62 .75 caliber (.75 caliber is 25.00 extra), (do to this guns length shipping and handling is 45.00 extra) for military  portrayal we can leave 4” of  barrel out past the stock and include a bayonet lug.  
THE MILITIA MUSKET

1755-1780 approximate time frame: Our Militia Musket represents a basic low cost musket that was made out of necessity to arm the American militia during the Revolutionary War. It retained the Brown Bess form, but the barrel was reduced to 42", Used a wooden ramrod. The nose cap, lower thimble, and wrist inlay were eliminated.  Plain maple wood stained real dark, brass mounted Bess type hardware, L&R Queen Ann flintlock .75 caliber smoothbore full round tapered barrel, with bayonet lug.

 

THE FRENCH TRADE GUN

1730-1750 approximate time frame: Our French trade gun is basically a plain and unadorned Tulle pattern, pleasing French architecture with a nice long wrist rail. Mounted with the appropriate steel hardware, includes the butt plate, trigger guard, trigger and side plate, two upper thimbles. Ozark Mountain Rifle or Smoothbore

1790-1840 approximate time frame. The Ozark Mountain rifle is a good example of a late Virginia Long Rifle with strong southern influence. This type of rifle was arguably a commonly used weapon  during the Western Fur Trade, in numbers way more common than the famous Hawkins. Featuring a plain maple wood stock stained real dark. A large Siler lock in flint or cap. Iron mounts a full octagon rifled barrel in 36" & 42" lengths .50 .54 .62 calibers.
THE BUCKS COUNTY LONG RIFLE

1770-1800 approximate time frame: Bucks County style long rifles have always been one of my favorite styles of Kentucky long rifles, so I took an original pattern and started making them.  It's not an exact copy, but rather a plain example of the Bucks county style and flavor. Sure is a dandy if your lookin' for something that's a pleasure to pack and shoot.  Standard offerings are a plain maple wood stock stained real dark, L&R Early Classic flintlock, single pigtail trigger, and the appropriate A.
