OUR FEATURES OR MORE THAN STANDARD |
|
| Our guns are unlike most standard run of the mill semi-custom or mass-produced reproduction on the market. They represent a true example of the predominantly available common weapon of the mid to late 18th Century. The stock architecture is true to the originals, featuring a plain unadorned flavor, they are stained real dark with a pleasing low luster hand rubbed oil finish. All the metal and or brass is aged to a nice warm patina. | |
|
AVAILABLE OPTIONS |

If you find something that fits your liking make sure to include it on your order the first time around changes at a later date can cause mistakes. | |

| OUR STANDARD SMOOTHBORE BARRELS | |
| Standard lengths are 24" 36" 42" and 46" available in .50 .54 .62 and .75 caliber Cloverleaf groups at thirty yards are common. They are made up from industrial grade hydraulic tubing. It's 1026 mild carbon steel much stronger than anything made in the 18th century. I have proof tested them with 250 grs. of FFFg black powder and six patched round balls. I took caliper measurements of the diameter in six locations before and after with absolutely no change. Colerain brand octagon to round smoothbore barrels are available for additional. | |

| LOCK INFORMATION | |
| We like L&R locks very well, their historically accurate, and availability, reliability, and service have been outstanding. We buy a lot of them and in turn we pass this savings on to our customers. We are again offering Chambers or Siler brand Locks | |
| KIT GUNS | |
| KITGUN: They are rough shaped from the lock panels back, we cut the barrel and ramrod channels. Inlet for the lock, drill a hole for the trigger location and cut out for the butt plate but nothing is installed. Final fitting inletting sanding and stain/oil is required. We include all components to make up a nice longarm. No instructions are included, I consider them an advanced project for someone so we do not recommend these kits for the novice or beginner. | |

| WORK SCHEDULE, ASKING QUESTIONS, DELIVERY DATES | |
| We enjoy creating these old
traditional muzzleloaders, and deliberately take our time, care and
patience to make them properly. We absolutely refuse to be hurry, our
estimated delivery date is just that an estimate. We generally run about
a year backlog and usually build one gun per week. It's difficult to
project an exact delivery date that far in advance, but we make a good
attempt and generally stay close to delivery. Your calls are always
welcome, but please be patience. We usually work in the shop from
morning to early afternoon five days per week. We enjoy visiting with
folks and will always attempt to answer any questions you may have.
